A few weeks ago, I signed up for a work course in Birmingham. I had the details. I booked a hotel. And boy, that shit was straight from a horror movie.
I was in a smokers room, it stank of smoke, I had only one plug, there was cigarette ash on the floor, there were hairs caught in the headboard. I’d have better been off at HMP Birmingham! Anyways, back to the point, I forgot to pack a beard wash and decided to go out and get some. I wanted something I’d never used before, so off to a bit Boots I went!
And this is what I ended up with! It cost £8.99 in total. It’s normally £9.99. You get 10ml of beard oil and 30ml of beard wash. They oil has the Percy Nobleman signature scent. I don’t actually know what it is, so I’ll do some more sniffing and figure it out.
Let’s look at the oil first.
Flip top. Crock top. 10ml of Percy Nobleman beard oil. The consistency is very thick, so you just know it’s gonna be heavenly. The essential oils in this product are sweet almond, argan, marula, jojoba and avocado. It’s suitable for all beard types, be it short or long (in my head, a beard’s a beard).
The bottle is quite solid, and with the flip top, it prevents the oil from going eeeverywhere! It’s so easy to just get a few drops out. First time I’ve seen a flip top on a beard oil!
If you don’t know how to use a beard oil, you put the oil in your beard. It softens it and keeps the beard in a good condition. It helps to nourish the skin beneath with the essential oils it requires. I oil mine after towel drying it after a shower.
Here you can see the list of ingredients. Currently, the 100ml oil is on sale at Boots for £13.33, normally £19.99. Not bad for an oil with a splendid list of ingredients!
Anyways, onto the wash!
Again, this uses a flip top, but it’s a lot easier to get it out! Thank god! The full size version has a squirty pressy thing. So this wash is made only with natural ingredients, no synthetic shit. It will cleanse the beard but not to the point where it’s stripping all the natural oils of the beard away.
So the wash doesn’t have the Percy Nobleman Signature Scent (I’m getting sick of typing that), but instead has a fresh citrus aroma. It’s very nice, but to be honest, it’ll be masked by a beard oil anyway.
Overall, very pleased with them! They’re a perfect size so I can leave them in my wash bag and not have to buy more the next time I go away! I might even get some full size ones for home!
Get it from Boots right here!

Until next time!
