Review: Brickell Beard Oil

Long time no see! I’ve been busy with life, but I’m back for another review of a decent little beard oil. It’s by a company called Brickell who do a variety of excellent quality men’s products. I can’t remember how I found out about them, but they do a sample box for £5 which is excellent value for money! I’ve actually purchased their face wash and moisturiser which is waiting it’s turn to be used! If you’re into high end men’s products, check them out! Anyways, back to the beard oil

For £27.50, you get 30ml of beard oil. The bottle is transparent so you can see how much oil you have left. The ingredients are 100% natural and 63% organic so there are no synthetic ingredients in this product, which is probably why it’s a bit more expensive than the average beard product! The product is not tested on animals.

The ingredients are jojoba oil, coconut oil, hazelnut oil, grapeseed oil, aloe, castor seed oil, argan old, rosehip seed oil, lavender oil, eucalyptus oil and peppermint oil.

As far as I know, this is the first time I’ve seen rosehip seed oil in a beard product and it’s good to see, because it’s very good for keeping skin nice and healthy.

The smell is very nice! It’s a blend of peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender. It smells very refreshing with medicinal and menthol tones.

The bottle doesn’t use a pipette but is a simple screw top with pour design. A little goes a long way with this product so 2-3 drops (I use 5-6 hehe) will be adequate for most beards.

Overall, this is a great beard oil made using natural ingredients which will be great for the health of your beard and skin. The other products they do are probably the best quality I’ve personally used.

Hello! Got beard oils falling out my ass. Today we’re looking at the ManCave Blackspice beard oil. ManCave are quite a well known company who do all sorts of mens grooming products. You may have seen them in Waitrose and a few other supermarkets. You can also get them from online retailers. I did. I was a few quid short of free delivery on Amazon so I bought this beard oil for just under £5. It’s now £7 on Amazon so I must’ve got it when a deal was on!

What to buy the bearded man for Christmas

*but not a beard consumable.

I know everyone does it. Your brother, secret Santa, your boyfriend; they have a beard. What do you buy them? A beard oil? Or a beard balm?

Well, why not something a bit different?

Review: House 99 Beard Oil

So, David Beckham has his own brand of mens products called House 99. They make products for face, beard, body and hair. They’re quite pricey but still affordable. Similar to Clinique but not quite Brickell. For example, a House 99 face wash is £17.00 vs £17.00 for Clinique for men face wash vs £35 for Brickell for men face wash. Still, more expensive than the average high street product.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford the whole range so I could only buy one thing. Guess what it was….
