An Introduction

So my name is Amrit. I’m a 26 year old Audiologist and I have a few obscure hobbies.

A bit more about me, I’ve lived in the UK all my life. I was brought up in an Indian house so I consider myself a British Asian. Quite self explanatory. Growing up in a middle-class predominantly white area has caused no problems for me. In fact, I’m very fortunate for my upbringing. My parents, family and friends have done everything to support me in one way or another and I’m very grateful for that. Unfortunately, my parents can’t read English so they’ll never understand this. Nah I’m only fucking with you! Of course they can!  Continue reading “An Introduction”

New Year, New Keeb Case

After a busy few months, I’ve kinda neglected my keyboards a bit! I’ve even started selling old keyboard stuff on eBay! I’ve got 2 keyboards to build but I haven’t had the time due to running and gym and cooking and mainly just looking after myself.

Review: Bedfordshire Beard Co. Mango Beard Oil & The Tobacconist Beard Balm

Yes yes! Thought I’d go back to my old ways and get myself a Bedfordshire Beard Co. beard oil. I remember using these oils when I first grew a beard and it was my first proper beard oil (I used to use Argan Oil). They’re a local company who produce some splendid products.

Review: Sweyn Forkbeard Notting Hill Walk Beard Oil

I’ve found the perfect spring time beard oil! It’s by a UK company called Sweyn Forkbeard. A lil bit of history for you, Sweyn Forkbeard was the 1st Viking King of England in the year 1,013. They do all sorts of products, including beard oils, shaving creams, clay pomade, beard balm, beard shampoo, moustache wax, after shaves, shaving oils, lip balm, razors and a few gift sets.

BATTLE OF THE POMADES

Happy new year everyone! Today we’re looking at some pomades. I’ve used a tub of each of these in the past and I’ve bought them again for the review. There are no winners! Only good pomades. A pomade is a hair product which gives your hair a nice shine to it. Slick! I’m gonna be keeping the reviews nice and simple

Review: Apothecary 87 Vanilla & Mango Beard Oil

So here it is, my all time favourite beard oil. My ‘treat’. One of the first ‘premium’ beard oils I used, back when it was called Milly’s after Chris John Millington.  THIS is a proper vanilla and mango oil. Apothecary 87 have mastered the recipe because the balance is absolutely spot on.
