Yo! It’s been a while. I haven’t actually bought any new beard oils. Instead, I’m going through the ‘archives’. I can’t even remember when I bought this, it must’ve been a few months ago!

So here it is, a nice 50ml beard oil, costs £6.99 from Boots so it’s available on most high streets. If you got a Boots card, you can sometimes grab some extra points too. You can also get it from Superdrug and Waitrose, with the prices being the same.

Now, looking in a bit further. Brisk are a sub-brand of Lornamead, along with Simple and a few other companies. Brisk, as far as I can tell, didn’t start off as a small company. I know some people do like to support smaller independent retailers, but this ain’t the one.

Saying that, they do make a nice beard oil!

For this price, you’d almost expect to find a lot of artificial and synthetic ingredients. Nope, not the case! You get sweet almond oil, avocado oil, argan oil and jojoba oil.

It’s a no nonsense oil. Does what it says on the bottle. The consistency is nice and thick so it’s easy to spread in your beard.

It smells quite nice. There is a bit of cedar in there (which I hate. Well I don’t hate it, I just find it boring) but the main scent is tea tree, which is light and fresh and not too overpowering.

To summarise, it’s a cheap and cheerful beard oil which a good list of ingredients. I can’t find a reason not to recommend it.

Enjoy!
