After a busy few months, I’ve kinda neglected my keyboards a bit! I’ve even started selling old keyboard stuff on eBay! I’ve got 2 keyboards to build but I haven’t had the time due to running and gym and cooking and mainly just looking after myself.

Anyways, a little back story, I decided to order another GH60 PCB but I received 2 which meant I had an extra keyboard to build. I thought ‘hey, this will be fun! Let’s get a wooden case!’.

And I did!

I took my Pok3r from it’s plastic case (this one), and put it in a new case. I got the case for around £35 from Banggood. It took a bit of time to arrive but it arrived. It has cutouts and screw standoffs all there. It’ll work with popular 60% PCBs such as the Pok3r and GH60.

Being made from mahogany, it has a nice deep thonk when you press a key. This Pok3r has Cherry MX Blues and my favourite SA PuLSe key cap set.

Scooped home keys. ABS Double Shot keys so the legends will never wear off. It has a nice shine to it too. It’s quite a sought after set so it’s almost like a small financial investment!

The SA profile is a high profile key cap set. It’s similar to the keys on an old typewriter.
